About Castle
Grad Otočec exists in stasis, preserved in the middle of running water oasis on the shallow waters of Krka river. It is the relic of Slovene gothic architectural endeavours propelling the basic beauty of wondrous nature into a picturesque water castle, a theatre of phantasmagoric proportions. As you sit in one of the garden pavilions bathed in the reflection of water green in all shades and enormous, well taken care off trees you suddenly feel as genuine as the fairytale you’ve been read to as a kid.
